The foundation’s existing website was difficult to update and did not adapt well to different screens. It needed to reach a broad audience while remaining practical for a nonprofit team to manage.
The brief included accessible program information, a clearer donation experience, and content tools that staff could use without depending on a developer for routine updates.
The platform

We redesigned the site for responsive use and implemented an open-source Drupal content management system. The publishing experience gave nontechnical staff control over the information they needed to maintain.
The platform also provided a foundation that could accommodate additional functionality as the organization’s needs changed.
The integration

The preferred donation processor did not work with the payment gateway out of the box. Custom development addressed that compatibility gap so the foundation could use the payment arrangement it needed.
The engagement combined a renewed public experience with the less visible integration work behind it, bringing content management and fundraising requirements into the same solution.
